Newcastle stars butcher iShowSpeed during late night Fortnite session
He's a big Manchester United fan, but iShowSpeed had no idea who a group of Newcastle United footballers were after they 'butchered' him during a late night Fortnite session. Three players took down iShowSpeed during his latest gaming stream, but despite being notable Premier League stars the content creator had no clue who he was up against. "Who the f*** is Harvey Barnes, bro?" iShowSpeed shouted after meeting a sticky end in the game. Harvey Barnes, as football fans know, is a talented winger on the fringes of the England squad who moved to Newcastle from Leicester in the summer. Viewers weren’t 100 per cent sure whether it was the real Harvey Barnes who had taken iShowSpeed down at first. However, he was joined by players with the aliases Anthony Gordon and Paul Dummett, who also play for Newcastle, which seemed to confirm things. "I’m creased some Fortnite pro players and Speed got butchered by Harvey Barnes, Paul Dummett and Anthony Gordon at 1am,” one social media user posted after seeing the incident unfolded. Another said: “Never thought i’d hear speed and xqc talking about harvey barnes lmfao.” One more added: “Speed getting his ass handed to him on Fortnite by Harvey Barnes is hilarious.” “A crossover we never knew we needed…” another wrote. It comes a few days after iShowSpeed attracted controversy after attempting a dangerous “coke and condom challenge” on his live stream. Tech mogul Bryan Johnson now attempting to get 'erection of 18-year-olds' through shock therapy
Tech mogul Bryan Johnson now attempting to get 'erection of 18-year-olds' through shock therapy
You probably know who Bryan Johnson is by now. If the name doesn't ring a bell, perhaps his mission to reverse his biological age does. Spending a staggering $2 million a year on his experiment to reverse his age, the 46-year-old has tried various methods from a strict diet to using his son's blood. During an interview with Steven Bartlett on The Diary of a CEO podcast, Johnson revealed his latest method to indicate his health. This time? Measuring his nighttime erections. Johnson told Bartlett that nighttime erections "are actually a meaningful health indicator" because they "represent psychological health, cardiological health." He found that during the night he was typically erect for "two hours and 12 minutes" – but has since undergone shockwave therapy to "rebuild" his penis in an attempt to reach "three hours and 30 minutes of nighttime erections" in order to get to the level of an 18-year-old. Johnson explains that he sits in a chair and gets his penis "shocked". "So there's this technology, you have a wand and you sit in a chair and then the technician uses the wand and basically shocks your penis, through the acoustic technology. "And it does the same things as workouts [...] where you're creating micro injuries so that it rebuilds." The technology is more commonly used for other body parts, namely dodgy knees, joints, or shoulders, however it can also be used for erectile dysfunction. Although Johnson made it clear that he does not suffer from erectile dysfunction saying he "score[s] perfect[ly] in every category" - Johnson was curious to see the technology's effects on his penis, seeing if would "rejuvenate" it and "increase nighttime erections." The results? "I'm now two months in, in my subjective experience, it's as if my penis has gotten like 15 years younger," Johnson told Bartlett." So we're still in the early stages, we still need to measure, we need data before we're going to believe anything subjectively." Although, the results come with a cost it seems. "It's painful. You need to be focused. You need to do pain management," he says. "It's like maybe a seven out of 10, but once you get to the tip, it's like a nine out of 10 because the tip you have improve sensitivity. "In addition to what we're trying to do with the nighttime erections, it also improves erection strength and orgasm pleasurability. So it has all kinds of benefits I'm trying to figure out." Flat Earther left humiliated after trying to argue with a scientist
Flat Earther left humiliated after trying to argue with a scientist
Flat Earther David Weiss was left humiliated after debating a professor on the shape of our Earth. Weiss regularly interviews people on the subject on his show The Flat Earth Podcast, but threw himself into unfamiliar territory last year when he switched out being the interviewer for the interviewee. Weiss appeared on Professor Dave Explains in an episode title 'Professor Dave Humiliates Flat Earthed David Weiss'. During the hour long episode the pair debated Flat Earth believes, with Weiss claiming that the shape of the Earth came from astronomers who Professor Dave "doesn't know". "You've never met these men, you don't know anything about these men other than the stories that the controllers of this world tell you," Weiss told the academic. Like most Flat Earthers Weiss seemed to have an answer for everything, well, almost everything. Because when the discussion arrive at Earth's movement within space, Weiss struggled. "You think that we're spinning at 1000 miles an hour, and we don't feel it? And we're changing directions?" Weiss said on Earth's orbit. "How is that possible? How about when the Earth comes around towards the Sun in the winter, it's speeding up and taking its sharpest turn, and we don't feel any go those forces?" Naturally, Professor Dave made counterpoints at Weiss' argument. "Why don't you go ahead and get in a car, and do a 360 turn and make it take a year. Are you going to feel that?" Professor Dave asked Weiss, who acknowledged that it takes a year for the Earth to travel around the Sun. "Let's break it down," Professor Dave continued. "360 degrees, 365 days, that's about a degree a [day] right? Why don't you get in a car and drive for 24 hours, and over 24 hours veer by one degree. Are you going to feel that?" Professor Dave Humiliates Flat Earther David Weiss (DITRH Debunked Live) www.youtube.com Weiss was silent after this, with the participants on the Zoom call bursting out into laughter from Weiss' inability to respond. Weiss' humiliation now has over 4 million views. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. Paris Hilton and Jimmy Fallon fawning over NFTs resurfaces after report finds they are worthless
The non-fungible token (NFT) craze might be over – but we will always have videos of celebrities endorsing them as reminders of just how unhinged it was. The latest to have re-emerged is of Paris Hilton and Jimmy Fallon, the US late-night talk show host, and it is quite something. Fallon’s interview with Hilton is from 2022, just before the crypto bubble burst in spectacular fashion last year. It starts with Fallon pulling out a picture of a low-quality cartoon ape, saying: “This is your ape!” "I was going through a lot of them," Hilton said. "I was like, I want something that, like, kind of reminds me of me. But – this one, it does." After a short segment of grindingly awkward conversation, Fallon then pulls out another picture of an ape – his own NFT. Turns out he also wanted something that reminded him of himself. “It reminded me of me a little bit,” he said. He then put the pictures side by side and said, "They're buddies.” Journalist Nooruddean Choudry reposted the clip on X/Twitter, saying: “Still, I’m sure everyone involved in this beyond weird advert to make rich people richer at the expense of gullible idiots is proud of their contribution.” It comes after a report indicated that the NFT market has collapsed and that nearly all NFTs are practically worthless. The study of 73,257 NFT collections found that 69,795 of which have a market value of zero Ether, a popular cryptocurrency used to buy and sell the tokens. Man seen using 'mobile phone' in WWII photo
Man seen using 'mobile phone' in WWII photo
History buffs on Facebook were left convinced of time travel after a black and white photograph originating from World War II appeared to show a man speaking on a mobile phone. In the image, the conspicuous figure could be seen leaning against a shop front on a crowded pavement amongst locals as well as US army soldiers deployed there. According to The Sun, the image was taken in Iceland’s capital of Reykjavík in 1943 – long before the invention of the portable telephone devices. The first mobile phone, the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X, was sold in 1973. The man who appeared to be holding a device to his ear was dressed in a light-coloured coat, wore a flat cap and was looking in the direction of the camera that captured the image. The picture which has sparked conspiracy theories of time travel was shared by its owner Kristján Hoffman on the Facebook group Gamlar ljósmyndir, which translates to “Old Photographs”. Hoffman wrote on Facebook: “The American army is taking over Icelandic splendour, as you can see. “One thing that draws attention to this beautiful picture is that above the window, in the corner in the middle of the picture, a man is leaning and is on a cell phone.” The post sparked a lot of debate online as people gave their different theories. One person suggested the man was simply scratching his ear, while another said he was holding his watch up to see if it was working since the man is standing outside a watch shop in the image. But Hoffman stuck to his own beliefs, saying: “He's in a stupor, standing alone and wearing a different headdress than the others and a scarf and acting like we would do today. “He has an overview of the square and nothing like having a conversation with someone on a smartphone.” Another person in the comments joked that Icelanders had “already invented the mobile phone way before anyone else!” Sign up to our new free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. Who is Adin Ross and is he interviewing Kim Jong Un?
Adin Ross, one of the most-watched streamers on the internet, is claiming that he will be interviewing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on his channel on Wednesday evening. The controversial streamer who has previously collaborated with Andrew Tate and has also been banned from Twitch for a string of offenses. Ross is hitting the headlines again for claiming that he is due to interview Kim Jong Un on his streaming feed despite being apparently warned not to go ahead with the talk with the North Korean dictator. During a stream earlier this week, Ross stated: "I'm getting it in today's stream. I have to address this s*** now," he said. "Listen... okay, Kim Jong Un is locked in (for) tomorrow's stream, at 7:30 Miami time. Okay?" Ross also shared a series of questions that he has planned for Kim which include: Thoughts on LGBT? Can you give Stake money back? React to Andrew Tate. Visit North Korea? Add Yeonmi Park to call. Trump vs. Biden. USA better than North Korea. E-date? Fake n*tsack prank. He also claimed that the US government had been in contact with his legal team to warn of the potentially serious consequences of interviewing Kim. He added: "They saw and hit up, basically, my team and they just let me know there could be consequences for this. You know?" There is little to no indication as to whether this is real or not but Ross has gone as far as to put together poster to hype 'The Interview.' All eyes will be on his stream at 7pm EST to see whether he was telling the truth or if we all fell for an elaborate prank. Who is Adin Ross? Ross started his online gaming career in 2014 when he joined YouTube as a Grand Theft Auto and NBA 2K content creator. He then ventured onto Twitch when as his following grew. His streams have since featured rappers including Lil Uzi Vert and Tory Lanez, who was convicted of assault in December 2022. One of his most prominent Twitch bans was a result of a gambling stream, which the platform prohibits. He claimed his most recent ban is for "no reason". Ross has since moved over to Kick, Twitch's rival streaming platform. The new platform has a looser set of rules, which saw Ross reportedly stream the Super Bowl, sharing video calls of white friends saying the N-word and scrolling through Pornhub in front of his reported younger demographic. "Listen, I got permanently banned on Twitch. It’s done, it’s already done," Ross said in a video posted on 26 February. "But I got permanently banned for no reason at all. How do you ban someone on Twitch and my reasoning is for VODs/on-stream, when I haven’t even been streaming there? This is exactly why everyone needs to see Twitch for what it is. It’s full of corrupted, pure corrupted Karens and they’re pick-and-choose-me. And unless you’re a certain person with certain beliefs [Twitch doesn’t] f*** with you." Photo of 'MrBeast' flying in economy has fans concerned he's broke
A photo of MrBeast shared by the streaming platform Kick asleep on a plane has fans concerned that the most subscribed YouTuber on the planet is broke. MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, has a reported net worth of $100 million but has spoken in the past about how much money he loses when filming his highly produced and expensive YouTube videos as well as having his own Feastables and MrBeast burger ranges and advertising and sponsorship deals. However, fans have been alarmed at an apparent image of the 25-year-old asleep on a plane while flying in economy class when he could easily afford to fly in the more lavish business seats in first class or even on a private jet. The image which has since gone viral saw Kick say on their X/Twitter account "bro wtf MrBeast doing in economy?" without any indication as to whether the person in the picture was actually the YouTuber or not. Many fans of MrBeast have since latched onto the photo asking if he is in financial trouble while others weren't convinced. Dexerto have reported that the person in the picture could be a lookalike while a community note on a Drama Alert tweet also stated that there was no proof that MrBeast was actually in the photo, while also stating that it was actually a Taiwanese airline and not a Spirit Airlines plane. MrBeast is yet to respond to the image but it is highly unlikely that he is broke given that his most recent YouTube video has more than 98 million views. Regardless even if it is him, just because he's very rich doesn't mean he has to spend frivolously or think that he is above anyone else on a plane. YouTuber discovers massive hole in New York sidewalk
A YouTuber stunned the internet after discovering a massive deep hole in a New York City sidewalk. Internet personality Casey Neistat shared his shocking discovery in a video that has gone viral across social media. Text overlaying the video read: “Gotta watch out on New York City sidewalks”. In the clip, Neistat was filming on a New York City street when the camera of his phone panned to reveal a corner of a paving slab that was crumbling and appeared to be sagging downwards. Neistat pressed his foot into the crumbling part of the slab which dramatically fell away leaving a fairly sizeable and dangerous-looking hole. He put his arm holding the phone down the hole, with the camera revealing just how deep it went into the ground. Various rusted pipe work could be seen occupying the space. The 20-second video has been viewed almost 26 million times on TikTok and has also been shared across other social media platforms, sparking quite a reaction. @caseyneistat ⚠️ Other TikTokers took to the comments, where they joked that the hole would probably soon be rented out as an apartment. “That’s someone’s studio apartment. $2,300 a month plus utilities,” someone joked in the comments section. Another said: “Bro found Old York.” One concerned viewer wrote: “Casey, I hope you called someone.” “Bro out here wasting injury lawsuits,” someone else quipped. Someone else suggested: “Mans found the entrance to Super Mario World.” Along the same lines, another person asked: “Are the ninja turtles in there?” Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. Another commented: "Aww! It really puts it into perspective though how drastically and quickly technology has changed & improved though. That was really not all that long ago, all things considered." Dating method shows TikTok users with a roster of different people
Dating in 2023 can be complicated. Not only do you have to keep up with new dating terms taking over social media, but there are also multiple methods and a string of 'expert opinions' spreading across timelines on how to date successfully. Now, TikTok users are encouraging people to have a roster of people on the go to heighten the chances of finding The One. Joyce (@joycehasatiktok) shared how she joined Hinge "because she really wanted to roster date" and wanted "many back-to-back dates" because she didn't want to obsess over any single man. "Good that you had this approach," one person commented. "Dating is the courtship phase. I feel anyone putting all hopes in one basket, turns out disappointed & bitter." Meanwhile, another wasn't so sure, writing: "I don't know. If I found out I was just like one of six guys a girl went on a date with I would not be feeling it, feels like I would just be left for someone better." @joycehasatiktok Replying to @ihavesynthed lining up many first dates is really easy if you want it to happen #dating #onlinedating #hinge #rosterdating #datinginmy20s Another TikToker @heyitsmekmac encouraged singletons to get a roster, "or simply dating around". "I think it's important to date multiple people because you find out exactly what you're looking for," she explained. "Dating is truly a skill and it's not something that comes easy to a lot of people – and like many skills, you need practice." She said it helps identify red flags, what important questions to ask, and what characteristics you are looking for in an other half. "So, go on multiple dates please," she said. Many fellow TikTokers agreed with the concept, with one joking: "This is the second video I seen about a roster in less than 15 mins….. I call they a sign." One person added: "Date yourself before you start “dating around”!! the best relationship you’ll ever need to have is w yourself." Controversial influencers the Island Boys say mum ‘doesn’t care’ they do OnlyFans
Controversial sibling influencers the Island Boys say their mother “doesn’t care” that they kiss each other on OnlyFans. The identical twin brothers caught the attention of internet users last month after a disturbing clip emerged showing them kissing each other. Brothers Kodiyakredd (Franky Venegas) and Flyysoulja (Alex Venegas) shared the clip to promote their newly created OnlyFans account but were instantly hit with backlash from disturbed viewers. In response to the criticism, the pair claimed it was not “that big of a deal” and “really not disgusting” because they’re twins. Now, Flyysouljah has also commented on fans concerns about what their mother thinks, claiming that she “doesn’t care”. In a TikTok clip, he said: “My mom doesn’t care. My mom is proud of me, that I’m successful. I get to take very good care of her. I’m about to give her $10,000 to go invest in her own business.” @flyysouljah Replying to @Mrcalifornia7 #flyysoulja #fyp #islandboys #kodiyakredd He added: “So, she’s proud of me. I bought her an apartment, a car. She doesn’t really care what I do in my personal life, to be honest with you.” The video has been viewed almost one million times, but some fans weren’t buying that their mother did not care at all and questioned his dignity. One TikToker commented: “His mum definitely doesn’t know cuz if she does that’s WILD.” Someone else argued: “Bro your dignity shouldn't have a price tag.
