People are raving about the newest addition to the Mario franchise. Super Mario Bros. Wonder not only boasts challenging levels and multiplayer modes, but it also has more power-ups. All Power-Ups in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Explained
Super Mushroom
The most common power-up that everyone knows. It makes characters bigger, allowing them to take an extra hit.
Fire Flower
Here’s another power-up that’s been in the franchise for a while. The Fire Flower lets you throw fireballs at enemies, though you can only throw them downward.
Super Star
The last familiar power-up is the Star. You become invincible for a short time with this ability.
Elephant Fruit
One of the new power-ups that has been most advertised in Super Mario Bros. Wonder commercials and gameplay trailers is the Elephant Fruit. You can use the trunk to attack foes, spew water to grow vines, and break blocks.
Drill Mushroom
There’s also the trusty Drill Mushroom. With it, characters can drill through the ceiling or ground to avoid obstacles or enemies. The helmet also gives protection from falling foes or objects. It’s handy for drilling into blocks and other obstacles, too.
Bubble Flower
An interesting new power-up is the Bubble Flower. As you might have guessed, it allows you to shoot out bubbles and defeat enemies. Characters can also use the bubbles for platforming and reaching higher areas.
Wonder Flower
Wonder Flowers transforms the player into different characters in one of twelve forms during the trippy Wonder Events. There are about twelve different forms players can change into, including a Goomba, a spiked ball, a balloon, and much more.
