Will UFC 5 be on Xbox One?
No, UFC 5 will not be on Xbox One. EA Sports' upcoming release is only available to play on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Nate McDonald, a member of the UFC 5 team, revealed the thought process behind the decision to exclude the game from Current Gen consoles.
"We just wanted to make sure [that] holistically, the team was fully focused on where we think the future of the UFC product and the console generation is going," McDonald explained to Dexerto.
He also stated that the game was specifically designed so players on Next Gen consoles "are able to experience the really hyper-realistic character likenesses, the facial motions of their favorite fighters, and the next level environment fidelity. And the highest resolution possible."
The graphics and gameplay of UFC 5 are simply not compatible with the limitations of Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
