The clock is ticking on The Finals Closed Beta. Embark Games' explosive multiplayer FPS has had yet another successful test, bringing in thousands of players. There's still time to get in, but not much. Here's how much longer you have to play The Finals during its Closed Beta period.
For those just now hearing about the game, The Finals is an objective-based FPS wherein three teams of three players compete to seize control of and defend Cashboxes in gameplay that mixes multiplayer classics like Capture the Flag and King of the Hill. The game features extensive character customization, loadout options and most importantly impressive destruction mechanics that radically change how levels are interacted with.
When Does The Finals Second Closed Beta End?
If that all sounds interesting to you, there's still a little bit of time to get into The Finals Closed Beta. According to the game's Discord FAQ, the test will run until June 21. Keys are still up for grabs, so it might be worthwhile to sign up and check your email for a key.
I've had a ton of fun with The Finals so far: its unique objective-based gameplay and impressive explosions are definitely refreshing in comparison to the battle royale and extraction shooters that have seemingly cornered the market.
Once you get into the Beta, it might be worthwhile to familiarize yourself with some of the mechanics and quirks of the game to get an edge over the competition.
If you don't get in, Embark is holding a playtest of their upcoming game ARC Raiders in just over a week, which also looks interesting.
