‘Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic’ is the most popular game of the franchise.
The 2003 title - which is the oldest in the top 10 list - has been found to be the top choice of games across the George Lucas-created world, according to a survey of scores across platforms like Twitch, IGN, Metacritic and first year sales.
Next up in the rankings include games such as ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ from 2019, 2007’s ‘LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga’ and ‘Star Wars: Battlefront II’, along with 2023’s ‘Star Wars: Jedi Survivor’ and 2015’s ‘Star Wars Battlefront’.
A rep from Solitaired.com - who compiled the findings - said: “'Star Wars' is one of the most well-loved franchises in the world, and over the years, there have been some fantastic video games.
“It’s always interesting to see older games make it into the top ten, especially when consoles have developed so much within the last 20 years.
“From the data, we can see that 'Knights of the Old Republic' and 'Battlefront II' have more than 130,000 combined Twitch followers, which is a testament to the quality of these games all these years after the initial release. Our research shows nostalgia value has become increasingly prevalent in modern gaming.”
