In Lies of P, understanding the difference between Motivity vs. Technique just might be the key to survival.
Lies of P is a dark retelling of Pinocchio that takes fans through the hazardous streets of Krat, a city overrun with puppets, the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, and monsters. Pinocchio's mission begins with saving his creator, Geppetto, but quickly devolves into a journey of choices as politics and violence loom at every turn.
To ensure you have the best chances against the long list of enemies in Krat, you must upgrade your weapons and alter their handles to boost their Motivity or Technique. But what is the difference between the two stats?
Lies of P Motivity vs Technique Explained
Although the names are a bit confusing, the difference between Motivity vs. Technique in Lies of P is fairly simple. Motivity is just another word for strength, and Technique simply means dexterity.
When looking to adjust certain weapon handles, you must carefully spend your Ergo and Hidden Moonstones on the stats that work best for the particular weapon. Motivity works better for heavy weapons, whereas Technique pairs nicely with light weapons. Think of Motivity vs Technique as strength vs. speed.
Save Advance for weapons that have magical qualities. In addition to damage output, Advance also increases Legion.
How to Upgrade Weapons in Lies of P
Before players even think of upgrading weapons in Lies of P, they must defeat the Parade Master. Then, they can visit Eugenie in Hotel Krat. The NPC facilities all weapon upgrades, including handle alterations.
To successfully upgrade your weapons, first make sure you have enough Ergo and Hidden Moonstones for your desired changes. You can find Hidden Moonstones in chests and by eliminating red butterflies.
