Unlike the disappointing Fortnite WILDS, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 delivered exciting new POIs, fan-favorite Mythic weapons, and eye-catching crossovers with Star Wars and My Hero Academia. Plus, Fortnitemares 2023 is just around the corner as Epic Games prepares to release Halloween-inspired skins, quests, and weapons.
Despite the success of the latest season, fans are looking forward to Fortnite Season 5. The next major update promises a new Battle Pass, theme, and a rumored Racing Mode.

The Fortnite Season 5 start time is Friday, Nov. 3 at 4 a.m. ET. The servers will shut down at 2 a.m. ET with the conclusion of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 before Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 kicks off.
The time can always vary, though, depending on unexpected delays. Since the file for a new season is much larger than a typical update, fans should be prepared to wait a bit longer than usual.
