During her five-year tenure at Stanford Online High School, she oversaw year-over-year enrollment growth; managed financial aid, student recruitment, and school collaborations; taught history; and served as the liaison to the Malone Family Foundation for the school’s $5 million scholarship endowment. Previously, Claire taught and coached debate at the Harvard-Westlake School (CA).

Claire is Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Wilshire Boulevard Temple, which runs Brawerman Elementary School (CA), a member of the Board of Trustees of the Winsor School (MA), her alma mater, a member of the Advisory Council of Geffen Academy of UCLA (CA) and Stanford Online High School (CA), and a member of the Institute for Educational Advancement’s Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship Committee.

Claire graduated from Harvard College with a degree in history and literature and from the Stanford Graduate School of Education with a master’s degree in policy, organization, and leadership studies. She completed graduate work on a Harvard fellowship at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris and was a fellow with Education Pioneers.

“I’m honored to lead our dedicated, talented, and diverse board at this exciting time of growth and innovation for our 60+-year-old organization. We are committed to the families who interact with our products and services, our membership of enrollment management and school leaders, and the wider independent school community.”

Other board changes include new trustees Tomohiro Hoshi, Head of School, Philosophy Core & Mathematics Instructor, Stanford Online High School, CA; Marjorie Mitchell, Head of Enrollment Management, The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, GA; and, Elliott Robinson, Vice President, Finance and Administration, Milton Hershey School, PA.
