Diablo 4 has been out for less than a week, and fans already want to know when Season 1 begins.
The fourth installment of Blizzard's ARPG transports players to Sanctuary, a hellscape run by Lilith. Players can customize their character's appearance, Skills, Gear, and Mount as they battle the demons lurking in the four World Tiers.
Like the previous Diablo games, there will be post-launch seasons that offer new Battle Passes, challenges, and gameplay features. Players must first complete the Campaign, though, to access Diablo 4 Season 1.
Here's a breakdown of when to expect Diablo 4 Season 1.
Diablo 4 Season 1 Start Date
Although Blizzard has not yet provided a specific date, they have confirmed that Diablo 4 Season 1 starts in mid to late July. Seasons will be quarterly releases throughout the game's tenure.
Blizzard promises, "Seasons will introduce fresh concepts and ideas into the world of Sanctuary, for all wanderers to enjoy while simultaneously iterating your baseline experience."
Players must complete Chapters to level up the Battle Pass and earn seasonal rewards, like Crafting Materials and Legendary Aspects for their Codex of Power. The more Favor players earn from successful Objectives, the quicker they can level up the Battle Pass.
