Diablo 4 Altars of Lilith won't need to be reclaimed each season moving forward, Franchise General Manager Rod Fergusson announced during the first Campfire Chat.
This is one of the biggest sighs of relief the community has let out yet. Altars of Lilith are a spread out across each region and claiming one grants players a unique statistic increase and Renown in that area. A worry among the player base was that when a new season starts, players would have to recollect their Renown. Depending on how much a player has discovered, Fog of War will automatically be lifted.
As well, Altars of Lilith previously claimed won't have to be rediscovered in new seasons.

Another major announcement, coming before Season 1, is that Nightmare Dungeons are receiving an experience gained buff.
Joe Shely stated that more hardcore players are focusing on running Side Dungeons for experience and loot farming instead of Nightmare Dungeons based on mob density. Nightmare Dungeons are a core part of the endgame, so as a result the team is planning on buffing the amount of experience players will get through Nightmare Dungeons. A major win considering players will also get to upgrade their Paragon Glyphs.
